What would a trip to the Jersey Shore be without an opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture? (“When in Rome” - Am I Right??)

So, with our traveling guests in mind, we’ve compiled a list of places to grab a bite or throw back a few rounds.

Also - if you’re wondering what some of the Jersey favorites are, here are a few to help you out:

  • Breakfast food “must-haves”:

    • The bagels

    • Pork Roll (It is PORK ROLL. NOT Taylor Ham; thank you very much.)

  • Lunch/Dinner “Must-haves”:

    • Jersey Sweet Corn - fun fact: the Bride has been extremely hesitant to each any corn that is not Jersey sweet corn-on-the-cob since her childhood

    • Pizza - if you ask us, you don’t know good pizza until you’ve had Jersey pizza

    • Italian food - as a matter of fact - you might not know good Italian food altogether unless you’ve had authentic Jersey-Italian food. Rachel loves going out for Italian when visiting the Shore - bonus points if the restaurant is BYO.

    • Jersey Diners - there’s nothing quite like the experience of going to a classic Jersey diner at any hour of the day or night. It’s similar to eating at a Waffle House but with fewer fistfights

  • Drinks and Nightlife:

    • There are a whole lot of options, many of which on this list the Bride and Groom are quite fond of. So whether you are looking for a place to dock your boat while you stop for a drink, a beachfront rager to get rowdy at, a classic dive for a round of pickle-backs, or a fancy rooftop hotel bar to dress up and sip martinis, you’re in luck because the Shore has it all.
